Twist on a French Twist

*Exciting news* you may have noticed, but my blog now has its own domain!! hairninja.wordpress.com will now redirect to itsthehairninja.com :) you can also now email me at inquiry@itsthehairninja.com. Any questions, comments, tips, requests, or anything else, I would love to hear it! Okay that’s all, back to the article…

There’s a reason I do not do many self-styles. Or at least, show them. I can never get good pictures of them. I can’t take them on myself, and my siblings seem inept at taking good, quality pictures. It’s either blurry, or not centered, or you can’t make out the detail. I can manage to take a good picture, but for some odd reason, they cannot.

Anywho, today I have a cute twist on a French twist. When I saw this tutorial, I knew it was something I would have to try because I love braids and I need new ways to get my hair out of my face. This fit both criteria. It’s as simple as it seems.

So, even though the pictures are crappy, I give you Dutch braid twist on a French twist

Pretty sure I have bemoaned the fact that there is no dimension to my hair before, and as you can see…I was right. This is a far away pic, and you can’t really make out what it is.

This is closer up, but still a bad pic as you can’t really make out anything but a big mess. (And yes, my hair was a bit frizzy that day, but what can I say? It’s summer, I was going for like 10 minutes, my hair wasn’t really my biggest priority.)

This is from the side, so you can actually see a bit of the braid.

Just watch the tutorial. Then you’ll understand

xoxo, the HairNinja
