I <3 Braids
Braids are my favorite thing ever, because they’re quick and easy and can be changed in so many different ways. Since each of these don’t really need their own post, I’ve compiled some into one post.
The braid in braid is so cute, yet simple. It adds a nice little pop, and is one of my favorites. Because my hair has no dimension, this actually doesn’t show up if I do it. So, it’s better for those who have lighter or highlighted hair.
This one is slightly blurry, so I don’t know if you can see it well, but it’s actually three fishtails into a regular braid. I believe this one was inspired by a picture a friend showed me, so I don’t have a tutorial or anything to show you, so just split the hair into three, fishtail each section, tie them off, and then braid them together. Yeah…
This one is a four-strand braid. It takes a bit of practice, and as Hannah can attest to, I had to talk myself through it the whole time I was doing it
I stretched it and turned it for this picture so you can’t actually tell, but somewhere I got messed up and started going backwards or something, so it actually curved in real life. Oh well.
*update* I wish I had seen Daven’s tutorial before I tried this out. I feel like I would have done better. And for anyone who hasn’t heard of/checked out Daven Mayeda, I would definitely recommend doing so. He’s the funniest hair guru out there.
This one sucked. I know. And even though I talked myself through it, I still sucked. Oh well, I’ll try it again. I don’t have enough fingers to hold a five-strand braid I guess. What am I, an octopus?
